- Nov 03, 2019 I've updated the DMG list for readability, now there's only one reference for each individual page, and I used indents to mark which DDB sections go to a certain page. I've also used indents to try to indicate different heading levels. And I included page references to all magic items!!:-D.pheeeeew.
- Creating NPCs/Monsters in 5e really isn't any different than it was in previous editions. The definition of CR changed, but how you make an encounter is the same. Determine the CR first. What CR do you want the Cleric Wight to be. Then look at the CR table on page 274, you want the HP and damage necessary to make that happen.
- Dec 04, 2014 I don't have my DMG handy to check, but I would bet that they can't be used by Warlocks at all. There is another item, called 'Rod of the Pact Keeper', I believe, that gives a +1, 2, or 3 bonus to Warlock spell attacks and save DCs and allows a Warlock to regain 1 Pact Magic spell slot as an action, once per long rest.

Pearl of Power: This seemingly normal pearl of average size and luster is a potent aid to all spellcasters who prepare spells (clerics, druids, rangers, paladins, and wizards). Once per day on command, a pearl of power enables the possessor to recall any one spell that she had prepared and then cast. The spell is then prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. The spell must be of a particular level, depending on the pearl. Different pearls exist for recalling one spell per day of each level from 1st through 9th and for the recall of two spells per day (each of a different level, 6th or lower).
While this pearl is on your person, you can use an action to speak its command word and regain one expended spell slot. If the expended slot was of 4th level or higher, the new slot is 3rd level. Once you use the pearl, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
Strong transmutation; CL 17th; Craft Wondrous Item, creator must be able to cast spells of the spell level to be recalled; Price 1,000 gp (1st), 4,000 gp (2nd), 9,000 gp (3rd), 16,000 gp (4th), 25,000 gp (5th), 36,000 gp (6th), 49,000 gp (7th), 64,000 gp (8th), 81,000 gp (9th), or 70,000 gp (two spells).
